setting
Index was once a small and close-knit community, but the town located on the western side of Washington state has grown in recent years beyond anyone's expectations. It is the ideal place for those who work in Seattle but can't afford the city's high real estate prices, and for others the natural beauty attracts them to the town. And Index truly is a beautiful place - surrounded by thick evergreen trees, tall mountains and glistening rivers and lakes. While weather is typically rainy with overcast skies even this does nothing to take away from the beauty of the town, and it is only highlighted further when the heavy snow graces the town and caps the mountains in winter. To many, Index would seem like a paradise. And yet lurking beneath this visual beauty there is more to this town than anyone might ever imagine...

Current Time in Index, Washington:
rules
PLAYBYS: Sims from the games Sims 2, 3 and 4 are used to visually represent player’s original characters (no characters from within the franchise are allowed). But, you do not need these games to join and roleplay! If you wish, you can post a thread in our out of character / general forum and list as many physical details about your character as you wish. The members of Index will happily try and make a character for you, and you can choose which one you feel best fits your vision.

AVATARS: Avatars should display your characters face clearly and should be at least 200 pixels tall, and 200 pixels wide.

THREADING & POSTING: When threading with multiple characters, it is important that you post only when it is your turn. This can be acheived by taking note of who has posted before you, and remember you are to always post after them. If you were the thread starter, then it is your turn after the final person has joined your thread.

When creating a thread you are required to place a tag before the title. Here are a list of types of thread you can create and how to tag each one:

[Open] Anyone is welcome to join your thread, with no limit on the number of characters.
[Open - #] Anyone is welcome to join your thread, but there is a limit on the number of characters who can join. Replace the # with how many extra characters you will allow to join your thread.
[Private] Only specific characters can join your thread.
[Closed] This tag should be used for threads that only involve your character.

ACTIVITY: To keep threads moving, people are encouraged to post within three days when it is their turn. If you do not post within three days, and you have not asked people to wait for you, it is possible you will be skipped. Keep in mind this is just a suggestion. While we'd love for everyone to be active every day, we understand that real life and other hobbies are just as important, if not more. We want you to be active because you want to be, not because a rule is telling you to be.

MATURITY RATING: Public threads should all be PG. If roleplayers above the age of 18 wish to post content that could be could be considered graphic then it should be hidden from view using the [hide] [/hide] code, which will enable only those in the threads and administrators to view the content.

She wasn't the only one feeling impatient. The idiot at the other side of me had been clicking the stack of his chips for what felt like an hour, and I was prepared to say something about it. This was worse than waiting at the fucking DMV. At least there I wasn't waiting for a far more appealing after party. Listen man, you're either in or out, just hurry it up already. We aint got all night. The man was big, and not in the weight lifting way, but in the too many quarter pounders with cheese kind of way. I wasn't trying to pick a fight with him either, I was just sick of sitting here uncomfortable, trying to keep my fucking woody tucked while this guy decided if he could spare another fucking dollar or not.

I could have fucking cringed at what she said next. No, I didn't want to fucking raise again, hell I couldn't even remember if I had a spade or a club anymore so I was practically playing blind. I didn't wanna sit here for another hour while Chris fucking Farley went through another two and half hours of contem-fucking-plation over whether he wanted he wanted to do with his fucking turn. I think that's a great idea. I smiled at her and squeezed the side of her ass before leaning forward to shove some more chips ahead. No, I didn't wanna raise, but damn the way she said it made it seem more like a good fucking idea rather than a question.

Now I had a decision to make. Offer her my jacket and risk losing the great view of her bare shoulders and breasts, or sit here and sweat. She may have been cold, but I was turning into a damned oven and I was pretty sure my insides were being boiled and roasted by my own damned blood. Then again the game was nearly done, and I expected it wouldn't be too long before I could start removing her clothes anyway. Decisions, decisions... At this point the players had already made all of their bets and the dealer was about to award the winner, and the fucked up part was that was pretty much all I knew about the game so far. My mind was elsewhere...

I sighed, I'm probably a moron for giving you the means to cover up... but as I was speaking I was removing my jacket anyway and I draped it over her shoulders. I smirked and cocked my head to the side at the sight, but... It looks better on you than it does me anyway.

It was all going perfectly, or as perfect as things usually went. Absolute perfection would be being handed cash on a silver plate, no string, no shitty funny business. Wandering hands and stares were a low as fuck price to be paying for what I was hoping to get off with. And sadly for Vincent, that wasn't him.

Quote Begin Such a gentleman. Quote End I purred, slipping the jacket over my shoulders but not bothering to hook my arms through the sleeves. It left just enough cleavage on display too, framed by the two sides of the jacket. I couldn't just take away the sights from Vin, I had to dangle the metaphorical bone in front of him at least to keep him interested. Even if he already seemed to have sprouted a literal bone of his own too. I leaned in closer to him, making sure to be as careful as I could on his lap. I wanted to turn him on, not end up breaking the guy's dick. I'd be taking enough from his as it was if the plans continued smoothly. Quote Begin And you'll be able to remove it later...Quote End I said, leaning in and speaking in a hushed tone. It was less about keeping things quiet, the other players were already getting enough of a physical show, and more about the eroticism of whispering, of being so close. I knew how to play this, it wasn't my first rodeo.

The other player at the table raised too, and after a few minutes of deliberation, in which I placed Vin's hand on the side of my ass as a distraction so I could have a feel in the pocket of his jacket I was wearing, the guy folded too. I watched the lady from my position of Vin's lap. I was willing to bet she had either three of a kind or two pair, from the way her tells had alerted after the most recent card. It was unlikely she had a full house, unless she had the perfect hand from the start, but there was always that possibility. We, on the other hand - things were looking up. Our initial mediocre hand had turned into a decent straight. The game just hinged on whether the woman did have that full house or not. And, of course, how we played.

Quote Begin Babe... I thought that was a six, but it's a nine, isn't it?Quote End I said to Vin, in a 'apologetic' stage whisper that the rest of the table could easily hear.

The woman barely hid her smile behind a hand, and raised.

Yeah if this game ever ends... I whispered back, feeling increasingly frustrated with how long it was taking. It probably wasn't even that long, but each second felt like an eternity because of her wandering hands and everything else. Maybe I just needed more to drink... I reached forward to drink from my glass and placed it back onto the table. Fuck I wanted to remove them now, not wait. Get paid, get laid, and go the fuck home. Was that so much to ask? My hand being moved to her ass was a welcome distraction but it only made the time pass even slower. I could squeeze her ass all night but that didn't change the fact that it'd be better without that stupid layer of cloth blocking me from her skin. I threw my head back and sighed annoyingly. I wasn't throwing a tantrum, I was just trying to get idiots to hurry it the fuck up.

I uh, what? - Yeah sure, whatever you say. I smirked at her and took another drink. I turned my head to look around the table again and the look on the guys face next to me made that smirk disappear real fast. What the fuck was he staring for? I followed his eyes and realized he was staring at her chest, and hell it wasn't like I owned the woman but clearly they weren't on display for his googly fucking eyes. I was about to say something when people started to groan, one man in particular looked like he had just lost his house. Wait? Game over? I asked, looking around and feeling pretty fucking stupid that I hadn't put any effort into actually following the game that I had money on. ''Yeah, now you and yer whore can get the hell outta here.'' I would have been mad if it wasn't for the pile of chips being pushed in my direction. It was an act that made it perfectly clear that idiot was just sour because he lost.

Call it in. I told the dealer and got up from my seat. My leg was nearly asleep, my foot tingled, and I felt like I'd been sitting on a rock, but I had a smile on my face anyway. I think you're my good luck charm. I grinned. Shit I liked winning?! I didn't really do that well with gambling but I was starting to understand why people would develop addictions to this shit, it was fucking exciting.

Yes. Yes!. My grin grew as I stared at the pile of chips being pushed towards me and I closed my eyes a second, relishing the adrenalin rush. Shit, people could say what they wanted but I got a better kick off gambling than I did from the majority of my sexual experiences. And the evening was turning out better and better. Quote Begin And so can you and your empty bank account.Quote End I smiled sweetly at the loser at the table, riding out my over-confidence like a fucking champion. Nothing was going to get me down.

Or, so I'd thought... My gambling afterglow came to a stuttering standstill when Vin ordered the dealer to call it in. I watched her take back the chips that had literally been just within my reach, clawing back the urge to throw myself after them. When I hadn't been sure of the win, while I'd have been pissed not to have won I still wouldn't have lost something, but with the fat piles of chips in front of me slowly disappearing it definitely felt like I was losing something. There was no way I'd be able to get my hands on the winnings if they were safely stored away in his bank account. Motherfucker - why'd he call it in for?

Quote Begin No! We'll take the chips!Quote End I called out to the dealer. She paused, looking from me to Vin for approval. And here was hoping that the guy really did think with his dick as much as.. most guys, actually.

I pressed myself up against his side, tugging him back towards the table. Quote Begin I think we should take the poker chips and move to the hotel.. so your 'lucky charm' can cover you in your winnings.. and take them all off of you... with my mouth..Quote End I whispered into the shell of his ear, and then slowly licked it for good measure. My words were disjointed and not the most typically sexy phrase to croon into someone's ear, but I was desperate, in a rush and watching those chips out of the corner of my eye. It was like the end of the damn Italian Job. So I'd just made up what I was saying as I went along. As long as it included keeping the chips and was in some way sexual, I was hoping the money'd be in the bag - literally. What I'd said sounded ridiculous but in that moment I was willing to do anything to get my hands on that cash.

I was glad I didn't stick up for her. I mean really, I hadn't wanted to that badly, because the guys description of her wasn't too far off from my own. I just liked to call her that in my head with a much lighter tone. Maybe that was because I kept picturing her mouth around my dick, and there was nothing dark about that. Nothing at all. But, she handled herself just fine. I think we were both too excited over the win to really give a fuck anyway over some guy who was burnt over his loss.

Her sudden outburst had my brows raising and eyes darting between her and the dealer. I quickly just passed it off as excitement. Maybe she wanted to have some kinky chip shower in the hotel room. Fuck I didn't know. But what she did next made it perfectly clear. I quickly licked my lips, We'll... My voice cracked, and I cleared my throat. We'll take 'em. I said quickly before snatching up what I could and practically dragging her towards the elevator.
